Step 14: EL Backlight, Buzzer, Wind Alarm

EL Backlight (LIGHT): Press "LIGHT" within the "WIND" section (see graphic). This will Enable or Disable the LCD backlight, which is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

It is recommended if the weather station is battery operated, to disable the backlight.

Repeated use of the backlight will considerably decrease the battery lifetime. Use the backlight option when the weather center is operated with the included AC/DC adapter.

Buzzer: The Buzzer is for acoustic acknowledgement or alarm signals of the weather center. It can be turned on or off.

Press "BUZZER" within the "WIND" section (see graphic). This will toggle between Buzzer On and Off. The bottom of the screen will show whether it is enabled or disabled.

Alarm: Press "ALARM" within the "WIND" section (see graphic). This will show at the bottom of the screen. All of the activated alarms, in numbered and stored according to the time of appearance, will be displayed, which have reached an alarm condition since their last deletion.

Press "*NEXT*" to proceed through the set alarms.
